I feel bad for any Mac users who never got to experience Mini-Servers. Once Beta 1 is taken off of the Downloads list on the official website, who knows? I might put a download link on this website. I know many more Mini-Servers will spawn as Beta 1 continues to circulate. With this being said, this will not kill this list. Toontown Fellowship is a server which is more or less faithful to the original game feature-wise much like Toontown Rewritten. Hosting of the game is done by the players instead of a centralized server, much like Minecraft. As stated by Logano: "the rest of the development team and I are currently discussing the possibility of an official mini-server that will be available to serve a limited number of people at one time in a future release." Toontown Offline is a server created to allow players to experience Toontown from a new angle through the use of commands. Due to this, and the fact that you cannot really administrate/moderate these servers, even if they're your own (there's no ban or kick functionality), this would make ultimate sense as to the fact of the removal of the Mini-Server feature.īut there's a lighter side to this. ![]() Due to this, we feel that they have caused more trouble than they are worth, and are an overall detriment to the community." Now why would he say such a thing? Well, you should note that some servers have been attacked by hackers. As to why it was removed, the original leader of the project, Logano, has stated: "Mini-Servers cannot be regulated. So what's the big news, you may ask? Well, as of Beta 2, the Toontown Offline staff will be removing Mini-Server compatibility. There wasn't a lot to add, so I decided to add an updates tab. I actually got around to updating this after 2-3 months. NOTICE: The official website will soon be getting a proper server list that wont need to be manually. UPDATE (): I've decided against the forums idea. UPDATE: I forgot to add the required Panda3D to this post. I wonder if it will actually get people on. ![]() Toonfest, along with anything else related to TTR and its additions, have been wiped from the game, so that TTR doesnt have any quarrel with TTOff, and TTOff can release its own content. Anyways, thanks for bringing me back to some memories of our experiences with the Toontown Injector. He still plays Toontown, but once and a great while. I still have contact with Master Frizzy and hes enjoying life. I'm considering on having a new forum for Toontown Offline that's linked to this site. It was removed because Toontown Offline got the assets from Toontown Rewritten, before they decided to remove the stolen assets. I dont know if you remember me or not, but this is Peppermint/Shockwave now from Team Insane. It will however be much slower since they also shutdown their website. That release is also called "Cog Gear." The original Toontown Offline also had a canceled release called "Cog Gear" that killed the project for the first time. I would've reuploaded it anyways due to the removal of Mini-Servers in their next release. The staff have taken down the website as well as the downloads. Don't freak out just yet.
